Please bring a food item and/or auction item for the auction/raffle - WE NEED AUCTION ITEMS TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR FUTURE EVENTS - If you cannot bring an auction item donations are encouraged. The more auction items we receive the more funds and events we will have. Homemade goods and crafts are encouraged (show your stuff). If you supply a service (even down country) consider this as an auction item donation. The more items we have the more fun it will be; we will take just about anything!

Bring the whole family and join us for a fun filled evening of food, drink and surprises as we raise funds for events and activities throughout the year.Bring a pot luck dinner item, salad or dessert, to feed 10 or more beginning at 5:30 PM. Area Events
The 13th Annual Garlic and Herb Festival, Bennington, VermontAugust 30 & 31, 2008, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Join garlic-lovers from throughout New England as they come to sample food and crafts from 50 different vendors all made from -you guessed it- garlic and herbs!
Everything from garlic ice cream to garlic jelly, pickled garlic, roasted garlic, garlic braids and, of course, plain garlic bulbs of every variety will be available for sampling and purchase, along with planting and braiding demonstrations as well as cooking demonstrations.
Herbalists will also be on hand to take visitors on "weed walks", where you can learn the valuable uses of every day weeds. For aspiring gardeners, garlic growers, garlic-lovers or those simply looking for a fun way to spend a Vermont end-of-summer day, the event promises something for everyone.
Activities this year include Garlic Golf, a hay maze, face painting and hair braiding and other great children's activities. Wander around the spacious lawns sampling garlic delicacies and enjoy the festivities. Relax at the Beer and Wine Garden under the tent listening to live music both days.
Admission: $5 per person per day - or - get a 2 day pass for $8; Children 12 and under are $1.00.

14th Annual Mount Snow Brewers Festival, Mount Snow
August 30 & 31, 2008
Once again, all the best beer brewers from New England and points beyond will gather for our annual Labor Day weekend Brewers Festival. Relax in our huge tent and sample the array of ales, stouts, hefenweizens, etc., or even root beer if that’s your taste. Both days will be jam packed with live music and the natural splendor of the Mount Snow Valley. Admission includes a souvenir pint glass – and the first pint is on us! The Mount Snow Valley and Vermont Life Magazine invite you to The Vermont Life Wine & Harvest Festival a weekend showcase for Vermont wines, specialty foods and artisans of all types celebrating the rich uniqueness, quality and ingenuity of Vermont producers. Set in the backdrop of our world renowned Vermont fall foliage; attendees will discover, savor and enjoy Vermont vintners, small specialty food producers, painters, publishers, cheese makers, potters, jewelers, chefs, photographers and farmers.
The weekend long festival additional authentic Vermont experiences include a Bluegrass BBQ, farmers breakfast and a series of wine pairing dinners at the Mount Snow Valleys finest eateries with highlighted participation from Vermont Life Magazine, The Vermont Grape and Wine Council, The Vermont Cheese Council and Vermont Smoke and Cure and headlining entertainment provided by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Brass Trio Fanfare, the Will Patton Trio and a Vermont Life food writers discussion panel with book signing opportunities.
The Mount Snow Valley (home to Southern Vermont’s premiere ski resort, Mount Snow) is a major Vermont tourist destination in the summer and the fall, and the Saturday/Sunday festival will take place at the sheltered but highly visible intersection of Routes 9 East and 100 South adjacent to the historic White House of Wilmington Inn.
